Event Schedule
Teams should arrive by 7:00 am to check in, set up, and warm up. Race brackets will be available closer to the festival date. Racing will go fast, so be ready! There will be a drawing for cool items, and vendors. The best racing is always at the end, so plan on staying all day! The awards ceremony will begin 30 minutes after the last race ends and the boats are put away.
Pets
Please be mindful that this event is for everyone, including pets! Pets should be on a leash, do not bring pets down by the water where people are racing, and please ensure you clean up after your pet. Let’s make sure everyone has a good time!
Parking
There are plenty of parking spaces at Lake River! Volunteers will direct you to the appropriate place to park in the grass. Parking is free, but donations are always welcome!
Race Location
We’re excited to partner with the city and port of Ridgefield in hosting the event at Lake River. The venue provides a wonderful large, open space, and the race course is perfect for shorter races. The city is home to the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge, fishing, boating, and numerous parks and trails. No wonder it is referred to as “your gateway to exploring nature.” We can’t think of a better place to have this event.
