7AM- Volunteer arrival and set up

8AM- Registration OPEN to team Captains

8:45- Captain's meeting

9AM- Racing begins

10AM- Entertainment Begins

???- LUNCH BREAK

5ish- Racing ends

5:30- Awards Ceremony

6PM- Event Ends

 

Loading/Unloading

   Teams will have the opportunity to unload their gear at the Unload point which is located on the corner of Hillsdale Blvd & Center Park Lane.  Volunteers will be present to help guide the flow of traffic and guide towards parking areas

Parking

Volunteers & Entertainers: Up front parking will be provided to volunteers and performance groups on a first com firs serve basis. The South parking lot at Leo Ryan recreational Center will be reserved for volunteer and performance groups only. Parking Permits will be handed out apon arrival.  South parking is entered off of Shell Blvd & Recreation Center.

Teams: Three locations have been approved for Paddle for Life parking. Again, these are first come first serve and at your own risk. Please unterstand that parking anywhere other than the designated areas may result in a fine or tow. 

1. On the street parking is available all day

2. Foster City Library will be available for parking from 7AM-6PM

3. Parkside Towers has graciously allowed Paddle for Life to use their parking garage for the day from   7AM-6PM

Handicap Parking: Handicap parking is available in the North parking lot of Fost

Food & Vendors at Paddle for Life

BAD Food- Bay Area Dragons will be on site offering up hot dogs, hamburgers, fried rice and an assortment of other great food at great prices. Proceeds benefit the BAD club.

Face Painting - Show your team spirit or creative side with custom face painting!

Frito Lay - Pepsico/ Frito Lay have once again been gracious enough to team up with Paddle for Life this year and will on location with their truck full of snacks and great drinks.

 

What to Bring...

Appropriate Clothes- The weather could be hot, cold, windy but no matter what you will get wet.

Team Items - Teams are responsible for providing their tent/canopy, chairs, and what ever comfort items they wish to have

Food/Snacks/Beverages - Its a long day so make sure your team has food and water on hand to prevent dehydration. BAD will have a food booth on hand with a variety of foods at great prices.  Teams may see the full menu or place pre-event orders by e-mailing Emmie88@Hotmail.com

*BBQs, Campfires, grills ARE NOT ALLOWED under Leo Ryan Park rules unless a permit is obtained by Foster City.
