Registering a Team Once you complete and submit the Registration Packet, you will receive an acknowledgment email within 24 - 72 hours. We ask that you pay your registration fee within 7-10 days after registration. Due to the limited capacity of Paddle for Life, if we have not received your registration fee 10 days after acknowledgment of your team registration, your registration slot may be forfeited to accommodate wait-listed teams.
Practice Waivers must be completed before 1st Practice Each participant must complete a Practice Waiver before they can participate. These will be collected by the Training Volunteers at time of practice. Youth (Under 18) must have a parent/guardian sign their waiver. Each team will receive two (2) practice sessions each.
Practices will be for one (1) hour and are to be held starting August 1, 2011 prior to Paddle for Life in Foster City. Practice slots are given on a “first come, first served” basis. Time conflicts will go to the earliest registered team. Please be respectful of the volunteer's time, if you must cancel your team's practice give a (1) week notice.

Additional practices can be purchased outside of this time allotment for $50ea, please e-mail sara@doublefifth.com to arrange.
Paddle for Life Waivers Each participant must complete a Paddle for Life Waiver to be collected by their team Captain. The Paddle for Life waivers will be collected at race-day registration. Team Captains/Managers should collect all waivers from each crew member. Race day registration will be open at 7:30AM the morning of the Paddle for Life. Youth (Under 18) must have a parent/guardian sign their waiver.

Team Biographies are due by August 1st - Team Captains/Managers please email your team bio and team picture or logo information to sara@doublefifth.com . Team Bio forms can be found on the second page of the registration packet. Any team bios received after August 1st may not be included on the website or in any print material.
Team Rosters are due by August 14- Team Captains/Managers, please submit your team rosters by August 14th via email to sara@doublefifth.com .
Refund Policy: Refunds will not be given for any reason. If for reasons beyond the Event organizer's control, the event is unable to take place, there will not be any roll-over of 2011 registration fees to future race dates.
No refund will be given if the race is canceled for reasons beyond the Event organizer’s control.
